On 22 May, International Day for Biological Diversity, we are invited to reflect on the inestimable value of the life that inhabits our planet, with a special focus on the astonishing richness of our seas. What better way to deepen this awareness than by taking part in this engaging workshop?
Discovering marine biodiversity
Did you know that the Mediterranean, home to over 17,000 species, is considered one of the most biodiverse seas in the world?
At the CRIMAC Seat, you can take part in an informative workshop where you’ll have the chance to discover and see some of the creatures that inhabit our seas and learn lots of interesting facts about them.
In this workshop, we will explore the main groups of organisms living in marine environments, learning to identify their distinctive characteristics and the animals that belong to them, and discovering aspects of their ecology and biology.
That way, the next time you venture out to sea, whether with or without a mask, not only will you be more aware of the importance of your surroundings, but you’ll also be able to identify and classify marine organisms and share your discoveries with others.
Where? CRIMAC Seat – Amendolara (CS)
