A unique ecosystem and a prime vantage point for understanding the dynamics of the Mediterranean Sea, the Strait of Messina will be the focus of the event taking place tomorrow at the Salone delle Bandiere in Messina Town Hall.
The documentary The Value of Biodiversity Across the Strait of Messina explores the underwater wonders of this incredible stretch of sea and highlights the vital role of scientific research for biodiversity protection and conservation.
But these objectives are not confined to the scientific world: in order to be translated into concrete actions to protect the environment, they must be embraced by organisations, institutions and the whole community.
