Are you ready to set sail towards the future of aquatic science?

We are delighted to invite you to the 29th AIOL Congress (Italian Association of Oceanography and Limnology), which will take place from 3 to 6 June 2025 in the stunning setting of the Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona.

This year’s theme is “Shaping aquatic science for the future we envision”, and the conference will be an unmissable opportunity to explore the world of aquatic sciences from a multidisciplinary perspective: limnology, oceanography, ecology, biotechnology, sustainability and much more.

Organised in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Marche, the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station – CRIMAC and the CNR (National Research Council) IRBIM (Institute for Marine Biological Resources and Biotechnology), the event will feature inspirational talks, scientific presentations, exhibitions and plenty of networking opportunities for students, researchers, lecturers and enthusiasts.

A unique opportunity to introduce the younger generation to research and to reflect together on the major environmental challenges, in line with the UN’s objectives for the Decade of the Ocean 2021–2030.
