BLU SPLASH 2026 at CRIMAC: the sea through the lens of science and games

Over the past few days, we have welcomed the “BLU SPLASH 2026” summer camp to CRIMAC – the Calabria Marine Centre at the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn – for an educational workshop on the sea.

The day began with a tour exploring the biodiversity of deep-sea environments, the invisible world of microalgae and the issue of marine litter; it then continued with a range of games, including CRIMACMEMORY and the crossword “The sea in play”, as well as a tour of the mesocosm area.

An experience designed to introduce young people to marine biology research in a simple, fun and engaging way. Thank you to all the participants for their enthusiasm!
