The SZN Scientific Council Meeting 2026 has come to an end

With stops at the Messina (Sicily Marine Centre) and Amendolara (Calabria Marine Centre) seats, the Scientific Council of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station comes to an end.

Four days of discussions attended by department heads and numerous researchers, who engaged in discussions on the organisation’s objectives and mission, scientific strategies, and the development and coordination of research activities.

Work began on Monday 16 March at the DaDoM Museum in Naples.

During the Scientific Council meeting, there was a mix of site visits and discussions between the Scientific Council and the research community, aimed at sharing findings, evaluating scientific activities and contributing to the development of marine research.
