For those arriving from the West (the Tyrrhenian coast), on the A3 SA-RC motorway, take the Sibari exit. Then proceed along the SS 106 Jonica (toward Taranto) for about 30 km and exit, having passed the town of Amendolara, at the signpost for Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn, which is on the state road. For those arriving from the East (the Adriatic coast), on the A14 BO-TA motorway, take the Taranto exit and, once on the SS 106 Jonica, follow the direction for Reggio Calabria until the junction for Amendolara.

Inter Saj www.saj.it and Marino Bus https://marinobus.it connect Amendolara directly with many Italian cities at very convenient prices, the map of destinations can be found on the websites. The closest Flixbus https://www.flixbus.it/ stop is in Sibari, about 20 minutes away by car.

The nearest station is Trebisacce (10 km away), but the most useful is Sibari (25 km away). Sibari is connected to the high-speed train network https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html . Daily, it is served by the trains Freccia Argento 8509 and 8519 that connect Bolzano with Sibari (see the map of connections https://www.trenitalia.com/en/frecce/frecciarossa.html). Otherwise, both the Freccia Rossa and Italo https://www.italotreno.com/it arrive in Paola (CS). From there, you can take a regional train to Castiglione Cosentino (CS) and then to SIbari. Another station of interest is Metaponto (MT), which is served by direct connections with Naples, both by Intercity and Regional trains, with journey times of about 4 hours.

The nearest international airports are Lamezia Terme https://www.sacal.it/lamezia/ in Calabria Region, and Bari and Brindisi https://www.aeroportidipuglia.it/ in Apulia Region.
